Absolutely. Your safety is our top priority. The Lyra is equipped with CCTV security, 24/7 support, and an on-site service team. In addition, The Lyra student accommodation is purposely built in North Acton, a safe area with a low crime rate.
Can I view the residence before booking?
Yes. Viewings can be booked directly through the AI Agent — slots are available Monday–Saturday, 10am to 7pm.

I need a Flexible Booking due to the delays. When should I pay the rent?
The Flexible Booking Policy is reviewed and determined by the apartment on a case-by-case basis, so there is no strict uniform standard. Please confirm the modified payment amount and payment deadline with the apartment separately after successfully applying for the Flexible Booking Policy.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Free cancellation up to 30 days before check-in. After that, a 4-week charge applies, or you can transfer your booking to another resident.
When can I move into The Lyra student accommodation?
You can move in on the lease start date or any time after that. The apartment will notify you with the relevant check-in information and schedule as your move-in date approaches.
When is the deadline for paying rent?
The payment deadline for booking regular course contracts within 51 weeks in 2025 is approximately August 2025. Please refer to the contract for specific dates, as explained by the apartment provider.
The online system is asking me to "make a payment immediately." What does this mean?
Don't worry. By clicking "Pay Now," you are only submitting your details to the secure payment gateway of the card processing center. Payment will only be made on the specified date, and the full amount will not be charged on the day of booking.
Can my partner and I share a room or a studio apartment since we are both students?
Some types in The Lyra, North Acton, are available for double occupancy with an additional fee. For more details, please consult your advisor.
Is there a discount for paying the rent in full? Are there any interest charges for paying the rent
The total amount of rent paid in full and in installments is the same, with no discounts or interest.
Can the windows be opened in The Lyra student accommodation?
Some windows cannot be opened in rooms of The Lyra, but such rooms have a fresh air system (which can replace the air conditioning function), and there is a cool breeze in the summer.
Will the deposit be refunded after moving out?
The deposit will be automatically deducted from the total rent and does not need to be refunded.
Can the room be subleased after moving in?
Sure, you need to confirm with the apartment front desk and find the tenant to contact the apartment and fill out the sublease form to process the sublease.
