When is the due date for rent payment?
Rent needs to be paid 6 weeks before moving in. If the reservation is made near the time of check-in, the full rent needs to be paid as soon as possible. You can pay online via Visa or Transfermate
Is a deposit required and how much is it?
The deposit needs to be paid within 48 hours after booking, the deposit is 260 pounds
What's included in the weekly rent?
All bills — electricity, water, gas, high-speed Wi-Fi — plus access to the residence's amenities (gym, terrace, cinema where available). No hidden fees.
How long can I stay?
Residences accept stays from 4 weeks to 51 weeks. Academic-year leases (typically 44 or 51 weeks) are available at a reduced weekly rate.
Does the apartment include bills (water grid heating)?
Yes, including bills, no need to pay separately; if you keep wasting, you will be warned and fined
Can the lease be renewed after the short-term lease expires?
Yes, if you need to renew the lease, you can contact the consultant of uhomes to handle it or make a house inspection
Can I view the residence before booking?
Yes. Viewings can be booked directly through the AI Agent — slots are available Monday–Saturday, 10am to 7pm.
What's the deposit?
A four-week refundable deposit, held in a government-protected scheme. Returned within 10 working days of check-out.
Are pets allowed?
Each residence has its own policy. Marylebone House and Greenwich Quay are pet-friendly; most others are not.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Free cancellation up to 30 days before check-in. After that, a 4-week charge applies, or you can transfer your booking to another resident.
