Q: Can I move out early?
A: You can move out before the contract termination date, but you have to pay the rent as usual until you find the next tenant to settle the rent for the rest of your lease.
Q: What facilities can we use in the kitchen?
A: Each of our kitchens has cooking utensils, refrigerator/freezer, microwave oven, mop and bucket, brush, trash can and vacuum cleaner (only available in some apartments, please consult the front desk of the apartment for details). Some kitchens also have kettles and ironing boards (Iron not included).
What's included in the weekly rent?
All bills — electricity, water, gas, high-speed Wi-Fi — plus access to the residence's amenities (gym, terrace, cinema where available). No hidden fees.
Q: Can I connect to the Internet in the room?
A: Yes~ Our apartment provides free high-speed wifi for students to use
How long can I stay?
Residences accept stays from 4 weeks to 51 weeks. Academic-year leases (typically 44 or 51 weeks) are available at a reduced weekly rate.
Can I view the residence before booking?
Yes. Viewings can be booked directly through the AI Agent — slots are available Monday–Saturday, 10am to 7pm.
Q: Can I personalize my room?
A: Yes~ Students can decorate their rooms according to their own preferences, but be careful not to use pins to nail posters and other decorations on the wall
What's the deposit?
A four-week refundable deposit, held in a government-protected scheme. Returned within 10 working days of check-out.
Q: What if I have problems paying my rent?
A: You can directly consult our uhomes consultants or apartment staff for help
Q: How big is the bedroom?
A: The area of each of our rooms will be slightly different. The ensuite is generally about 9-13 square meters. For details, you can consult a consultant for help.
Are pets allowed?
Each residence has its own policy. Marylebone House and Greenwich Quay are pet-friendly; most others are not.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Free cancellation up to 30 days before check-in. After that, a 4-week charge applies, or you can transfer your booking to another resident.
Q: What should I do if I want to switch rooms?
A: Students, please contact our consultants directly if you have not checked in. The apartment will assist you to change rooms if there are vacancies, but you have to make up the difference~ Students want to change rooms after check-in You can directly consult the front desk staff of the apartment
Q: Can I choose roommates by myself?
A: The apartment cannot 100% guarantee that students will be able to match the roommates they request, but students can tell our consultants your requirements for roommates when booking a room. We will help students to make notes with the apartment, and the apartment will do their best to meet the requirements of students (in advance The statement is that roommates still have to be subject to the actual occupancy) View more
